Burke Trio [Dallas Family and Child Photographer]

I love referrals--they are my primary source of clients, and there is nothing like it when a client I adore refers another client...whom I adore! Pam--thank you so much for introducing Angela to me! I knew the moment I saw these kiddos that I was going to be smitten--just look at them!

Unfortunately, I suffered 2nd degree burns (a.k.a. blistering and tissue damage) to my right palm, wrist and forearm today! It was a Father's Day Surprise gone wrong! I will likely be a bit delayed on my editing as I attempt to limit the amount of pressure I am putting on this intensely sensitive area over the next few days. I am using cold compresses 24-7, so I am hoping to minimize the swelling and inflammation as quickly as I can!

Portraits for the 'Non-Picture People' [Allen Family Photographer]

I think I may have converted them! LaShonna's family is one of our first families to experience our new Couture Sessions where we really focus on getting to know who you are and how we can create a truly custom session for your family. Mom and Dad were nervous about how the day would go [cough, cough...with two teenage boys who want nothing to do with family portraits]...but I think we may have just proven to them that it can be fun to have a photographer around! Baby Kendall [McKinney Baby and Child Photographer]

My goodness how time flies! It truly feels like I just photographed Kendall's newborn portraits-I can hardly believe this sweet little angel is already sitting up! Wow. Baby Liam: Brand New [Allen Newborn and Family Photographer]

I am so excited to share a brand new little one with you! Meet precious baby Liam--I just can't get enough of this little guy! He was so sleepy and cuddly--I could have held him all day. Enjoy your sneak peek guys!




Liam is actually named after his Daddy and Grandfather (see the name on the hat) and both Mommy and Daddy are engineers (who wear hard hats!). We tried to get this sweet boy to stay in the hard hat--but they are after all, a bit HARD! So, we softened it up with some blankets and he went back to sleep like a champ!

The Henderson Family [McKinney Family Photographer]

The Henderson Family!!! These guys were troupers and endured 2 reschedules for rain!!! I was so happy to be able to photograph them after being rained out, and had such a great time hanging out downtown with them. These kiddos are so adorable that everyone on the busy streets stopped to watch as the little models walked by :)

The Beautiful Packer Girls [Dallas Baby and Child Photographer]

Recognize these gorgeous girls? Little EK is on our bebe plan and I absolutely adore seeing them every few months. Every single time we get together we have a great time, and I am in awe by their sweet spirits. Each of the girls has a very unique and charming personality that just makes my heart melt! I just wonder if they realize how lucky they are to have such a super-cool Mommy! :)

Ann & Ben are Engaged! [Dallas Engagement and Wedding Photographer]

Meet Ann and Ben-sweet couple who are getting married in August. The couple wanted to commemorate the magic of their first date, so we revisited the locations via the Dallas Trolley. It was so fun to see them reminisce and reflect on memories from that night!

[Oh--and check out Ann's dress--her mother is an amazing designer and seamstress. Everything I have seen her make is absolutely unique and gorgeous! I don't have one showing the feathers here, but I'll post one of those later!]

After that, we went on a search for some color! Congratulations Ann and Ben, I can't wait for your wedding in August!

Jessica & Ross are Married! [McKinney Wedding Photographer]

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. LaPrade! Jessica and Ross are such a fun couple, and they really infused their wedding with TONS of personal touches! When I met Jessica for the first time, she told me she wanted her wedding to be very fun and colorful...and she wanted her images to reflect this candid, photojournalistic style. So Jen and I did our best to hang back and follow the action as this colorful group celebrated their love.

The McBrayer Boys [Allen Children's Photographer]

What sweet boys! The two McBrayer boys were so adorable! We met to commemorate their 1st and 3rd birthdays and I nearly burst with excitement when I saw that there was a carnival at our location! It was so much fun!
