Dillon [Dallas Baby and Toddler Photographer]

What can I say? Dillon is growing like a weed and has captured my heart hook, line and sinker. I have watched this sweet baby grow over the past year and every time I see his sweet gaze, I can't help but smile. I had such a great time watching him run all over town during his session--what a fun stage! His parents took a few family shots too...but I couldn't help choosing so many fun shots of him for his sneak peek--I'm totally a Dillon-Junkie. I have a feeling that Mom won't mind too much...enjoy your sneak peek, Erica!

The Copeland Family [McKinney Family Photographer]

I recently had one of those--'oh my goodness, I just turned into my parents' moments. You see, I had the pleasure of photographing the Copeland Family for the second time this year, having photographed both children last fall. I have not seen them since last year, so in my mind the kids were much smaller...a whole year younger...a bit more baby-faced, a couple inches shorter...you get the picture. So anyway, I was completely blown away by how they have matured and changed since last year--no joke. I was seriously flustered! I used to cringe when my mom or dad would talk about how much my friends had grown and/or changed...and yet, that was all I could say to these sweet kiddos...I was a blubbering idiot. Sorry guys.

Seeing their transformation motivated me to go home and just stare at my son for about 15 minutes. Watching him play his little video game--while he battled it out with some strange aliens from another planet, I realized with amazement that time is truly flying before my eyes! My own baby is far from a baby any more--much closer to a grown boy than that sweet gushy toddler I like to think of in my head.

Amy and family, thank you so very much for allowing me to photograph your family--it is truly an honor! And thank you for reminding me how quickly our lives are flying by. Your children are absolutely adorable, and without a doubt, the hint of those same sweet faces I met last year is there...it's just wrapped up in a more sophisticated package. I can't wait to see how they change next year!

Welcome Brody! [McKinney Newborn Photographer]

I have the best job! I have had a huge influx of newborns lately (which I LOVE) and I was so excited when the sweet 5yr. old Kade brought his darling new baby brother, Brody in for his first portrait session. Kade set an incredible example allowing me to test my lighting and posing and was incredibly patient and well-behaved...it blew me away! And what can I say about Brody? His soft spiky hair and sweet pink lips just make you want to snuggle right in!

I have so many images I want to edit from this session, but here are just a couple of our sweet moments together!

Caden [Allen Baby and Child Photographer]

I am so behind on blogging--it's shameful! I guess the best place to catch up is from the beginning, right? I'll be blogging something every day for a while to get myself back on track--I'm sorry my fellow blog fans!

I can't think of a better post to start with than Caden's 3 year old session. Caden is such a sweetheart and 100% boy! I have been photographing him since he was about 1 and I cannot believe how much he has changed! I cannot help but smile when I see his images--where has the time gone? I am also so very excited because Caden is going to be a big brother very soon to twins-it's a big job, but I sincerely believe that Caden is the man for the job :) What a great big brother he'll be!

Ann + Emeke Wedding [McKinney Wedding Photographer]

Recently I had the honor of photographing the beautiful wedding of Ann and Emeke. This couple is so incredibly sweet and gracious, as is their entire family! Their union was just beautiful, blending the traditions of both the American and Nigerian culture with unparalleled attention to detail. There were diamonds and sparkles everywhere! A big 'thumbs-up' to Nkiru of Diice Events for all her hard work!

Ann informed me that her wedding is going to be featured in one of the premier Nigerian fashion magazines in their wedding section, and we cannot be more excited for them! Here is a sneak peek of their beautiful multi-cultural wedding!

Bachelorette Party [Dallas Wedding Photographer]

Amy recently threw a pin-up themed bachelorette party for her friend Christina and asked me to come photograph their preparations. Jen and I had such fun watching them curl and twist and perfect all the details of their look...check them out! I'm sure they were show-stoppers that night!

It has been a week of newborns...and I have been just delighted! Meet little Baby W--such a sweet little boy! Mom and Dad were so patient...and proud of this little guy...it makes my heart nearly burst! Congratulations guys--he's gorgeous!
